Sheriff’s office looking for man who broke into eastern Nebraska gas station

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who broke into an eastern Nebraska gas station early Tuesday morning.

Around 12:30 a.m., deputies were sent to the Super C in Ceresco after the store’s alarm went off.

When deputies arrived, they found an unlocked door, so they cleared the building, according to the sheriff’s office.

Security footage shows the man walking up to the door and breaking the handle. The sheriff’s office said he started to enter the building but was scared off by the alarm.

The sheriff’s office said he was driving a dark grey Dodge Ram pickup that was pulling a gooseneck trailer loaded with plastic pipe.

If you have any information about the suspect, call the sheriff’s office at 402-443-1000 or message them on Facebook.
