Slightly warmer today with an isolated chance for rain 9/13/2021
Southeast Nebraska is off to a pleasant start this Monday morning, with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. A few clouds have moved out of the KS side this morning and into the area, but quite a bit of sunshine will still be present for sunrise. If you travel to the west around the Tri-Cities though, you will quickly run into fog and visibilities below half a mile in some spots. Use extra caution if you run into any fog during your commute this morning.
A mix of clouds and sunshine will persist into the afternoon and evening today thanks to an isolated chance for showers north of I-80. Southeast Nebraska should stay pretty dry overall, but there is still a chance for a shower today. Highs will be on the warmer side today, back in the upper 80s across the area.
We cool down into tomorrow with highs in the upper 70s and scattered rain throughout the day. A warming trend returns for the second half of the week, and highs will quickly warm into the upper 80s.
