Slow but steady warm up
This is the part of spring where we get really cold for one more night, then we slowly, but surely, warm up. We’ll drop into the 20s tonight, then the warm up begins.
Hour by hour (above), we steadily drop into the middle 20s by early Thursday morning in Lincoln. Our average low is 36 degrees, so it’s a cold start to the day!
On the plus side, the wind will die down considerably. Wind gusts will be in the 20s early, then drop off completely by the overnight.
After starting temperatures in the 20s, we warm up a bit. We’ll top out around 60, which is just a little below average. We’ll see plenty of sunshine, though!
Highs around the area will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Again, it’s below average, but it’s just the beginning of a long warm up!
