Slow warm up with precipitation by end of the week
After a solid swath of rain Thursday through Saturday, we’re going to dry out for a few days. The rain and/or snow chances do come back by the end of next week. Just in time for Christmas travel! Temperatures, while starting off cool early in the week, will warm up to above average quickly.
Rainfall over the last several days was significant for some. The heavies rain fell in south central Nebraska.
Some areas of eastern and NE Nebraska saw some decent rains, as well.
It’s going to be a windy overnight into Monday morning. Wind gust will be approaching 30 to 35 mph.
Highs will be right around normal on Monday with a gusty northwest breeze. At least we’ll have plenty of sunshine!
We warm up quite a bit this week, too. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy with temperatures well above average Tuesday and Wednesday.
