Slowly warming back up
It was a rainy start to the week. Much of SE Nebraska saw over an inch of rain Sunday night through Monday.
We start Tuesday off on a cool note for some. It’ll be very close to average for much of eastern Nebraska (mid 40s), but central and western Nebraska will have a chill in the air.
Because of this chill, a Frost Advisory has been put in place for NW Nebraska through Tuesday morning.
We do warm up nicely, though. With mostly sunny skies and very little wind, it will turn into a pretty nice day.
Highs for the state will be in the 60s. Just a little below average.
Wednesday will be just like Tuesday, but then we start to warm up on Thursday with a small rain chance.
The warming trend lasts through the weekend before we cool back into the 70s next week. Rain chances are small for the duration.
