Small storm chances
There is a small chance for storms as we go through Saturday morning into the afternoon. A cold front will sweep through but most models don’t have creating storms until it gets into Iowa. We could use the rain, but this may produce quite a bit of severe weather, so if it misses us, it’s probably for the best. After the cold front, we quiet down for much of the next several days.
Most of Saturday is looking dry, but there’s still a chance for a storm, especially the first half of the day into the early afternoon.
The cold front will be just about out of Nebraska by the early afternoon and that will try to spark some storms in eastern Nebraska. The circled area above has the better chance for storms at this time, but the even better chance will be in Iowa later in the day.
Because of the timing of the cold front, we have a chance for a storm early, then clearing out and getting fairly warm with the added sunshine later in the day!
Highs will vary from the middle 70s to the lower 80s. Just about normal for the first day of fall!
