Smoke one more day, storm chances
Temperatures will be a little above average the next couple of days, but cooler air moves in and sticks around starting Sunday. There are quite a few chances for rain through the weekend into early next week.
The air quality is going to continue to be an issue through Thursday night into Friday.
But by Friday afternoon, it should be improving to the point that the Air Quality Alert is over.
There is also a small chance that a few counties in central and northern Nebraska may see some severe storms tonight.
Storms start in north central Nebraska in the early evening and then progress their way into SE Nebraska after midnight. By the time they get near Lincoln, the threat for severe storms will be very small.
After a few lingering showers early Friday, the rest of the day will be dry and mild.
If you’re headed to Colorado to see the game, the forecast is a good one! #GBR
