After a quiet start to the day on Wednesday, a storm system will move in during the evening, bring with it a good chance for snow. That will last into Thursday morning.
The best chance for accumulating snow in Lincoln is late Wednesday into very early Thursday.
For the eastern half of the state, the heavier snow is projected to stay near the Kansas/Nebraska border, then tapering off the further north you go. 2-4″ possible in Lincoln and along much of I80.
The heaviest snowfall is expected to stay south of I80. Smaller amounts will happen further north.
