Snow possible into the weekend in Nebraska
Snow is going to be moving from northwest Nebraska into southwest Nebraska on Friday, then the system will reorganize and head east for Saturday.
Temperatures are going to struggle for the next several days, with most highs below average through the middle of next week.
Snow will first fall in the western half of the state and stay there through Friday. Accumulations will be in the 4- to 8-inch range.
Then, the storm pushes east and fizzles out. But another wave moves from southwest Nebraska into eastern Nebraska on Saturday.
That may drop 1 to 2 inches in southern Nebraska and a trace to 1 inch in eastern and northeast Nebraska.
See video below for what all of this may look like.
The above video shows what the radar may look like Friday, Saturday and into early Sunday morning.
Temperatures are going to drop into the teens and low 20s early Friday morning.
There won’t be a lot of wind, but what wind there is will drop our wind chill into the single digits.
If you’re headed to the Huskers game on Friday, bundle up!
Temperatures will hover around 30 all game with mostly cloudy skies, a few flurries and a northeast wind at 5 to 15 mph.
After flurries and cold on Friday, then light snow and cold on Saturday, we try to warm back up for Sunday.
