Snow possible through Friday morning
Snow is possible for much of the state through Friday morning, but we’re not expecting a lot.
2-4″ is possible for the northern portions of the state, with a few spots seeing 4-6″.
1-2″ is possible in a swatch from Omaha to Columbus to Scottsbluff. South of there, just a trace to an inch of snow is possible.
Above is what StormCast has for the timing of the snow. Most of this will be out of our area by sunrise Friday.
Where the heavier snow is possible, a Winter Weather Advisory is in place through 6:00AM Friday. Travel may be difficult in this area.
It’s also going to be a colder and blustery Friday. Temperatures will be below average for the first time in a long time!
We don’t stay cold very long. Highs get back into the 50s by Sunday.
