Snow potential over next several days
First off, I would LOVE to get video from you of the next snow storm. We have a quick and easy way to do it now AND you can make some quick $$$! Download our new app HERE and you’ll be well on your way.
Light snow and patchy drizzle is going to be possible on and off the next couple of days. We may see some minor snow accumulations by early Saturday. After a break on Sunday, a bigger storm come our way late Sunday, through Monday, into Tuesday.
First we’ll look at the potential for snow early next week. This will likely change a bit, but for now, the area with the best chance for accumulating snow is central and eastern Nebraska. Just how much is still being determined.
Before that snow potential next week, we have light snow to contend with. Above is what radar may look like Friday morning.
Snow will spread from SW to the east during the day Friday and into very early Saturday. (video above)
Because of the potential for accumulating snow in SW Nebraska, a Winter Weather Advisory is in place through noon Friday.
Above shows how much snow can be expected Friday into early Saturday. Notice how SW Nebraska has the higher potential, thus the advisory.
Above is the potential for snow late Sunday, through Monday, into early Tuesday. Accumulation potential is still being determined, but if this projection stands up, we could see several inches of snow.
What we’re watching, however, are the things above. There is still FOUR days before the snowfall potential early next week, so a lot can and will change. Stay tuned!
