Some Test Nebraska sites closed due to weather and President’s Day

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Some Test Nebraska sites will be closed on Monday, February 15th. Health officials say it’s in response to the extreme cold the area has been experiencing and for President’s Day. Oakview Mall will remain closed through Tuesday due to a heating issue.
Those registered for testing should regularly check messages for updates, as notification via text or email will be sent in the event of a change.
The following testing sites will be closed Monday, February 15th:
Bassett – Rock County Fairgrounds
Burwell – Loup Basin Public Health Department
Chadron – Chadron Community Hospital
Fremont – Christensen Field — in observance of Federal Holiday
Grand Island – Central District Health Department — in observance of Federal Holiday
Lexington – Lexington Service Building
McCook – Red Willow Fairground
North Platte – West Central District Health Department — in observance of Federal Holiday
O’Neill – O’Neill Armory
Omaha – Oakview Mall
Lincoln — Gateway Mall, delayed opening at noon (Any individual scheduled prior to noon does not need to reschedule and they are welcome to come for their test after the site opens.)
