Spot showers; warming up this week
Through early Monday evening, spot showers and storms will be ongoing and eventually tapering off after sunset.
We’re over halfway through July and so far, 2024 has been on the plus side for precipitation in Lincoln.
High temperatures on Tuesday will be a little closer to average, which is 90 degrees. It’ll be the last day we see 80s for a high for a while.
It will be a little humid on Tuesday, as well.
Smoke from wildfires will give us a bit of a haze on Tuesday. Most of this won’t make it to the surface, but it will give a milky hue to the sky.
Temperatures are on the way up over the next several days.
Middle 90s are likely as we push into the weekend and most of next week. Precipitation chances are small for quite a while.
