LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- At 11 p.m. Tuesday night, a Lincoln Police Department deputy saw a 2002 silver Bravada with fake plates sitting at the intersection at 70th and bluff. The deputy went to the car but it immediately hit the turn signal and then turned the opposite way.

The officer turned around to follow the Bravada, attempted to do a traffic stop, but was ignored. The deputy said the lights on the car looked damaged and possibly a result of a crash.

After the officer had gone back to the intersection, they found the same car in the ditch after hitting a pole.

Meth and a scale were found in the car, leading to the arrest of 43-year-old Jason Thurber. Thurber has several arrest warrants and was driving under suspension.
