Storm chances through the weekend into next week
A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in place for parts of SW Nebraska until 4AM Saturday, June 14, 2025. Hail and damaging wind is possible.

It gets warm again on Saturday with some thunderstorm chances in the afternoon and evening.
The entire state has a chance for strong to severe storms with the higher risk in the NW where there is a level 2 “Slight Risk” in place.

So the heat index will be pushing into the middle 90s most of the afternoon.
