Storm timing: March 4-5, 2025
The city of Lincoln and Lancaster county, as well as Gage, Saunders and Dodge counties have been added to the BLIZZARD WARNING through early Wednesday morning.
A few inches of snow and a LOT of wind will give us blizzard conditions through early Wednesday.

Below is what our StormCast weather model is saying for storm duration, timing, and location.
Snowfall totals will range from 1-2″ to 2-4″ for much of eastern Nebraska.
A BLIZZARD WARNING is in place for much of eastern Nebraska through 6:00AM and north central Nebraska through midnight.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in place for central and eastern Nebraska through 3am Wednesday. Less than a couple inches of snow possible with 60-70 mph wind gusts. Near blizzard conditions expected.
A High Wind Warning is in place for much of the state, as well. Wind gusts nearing 70 mph are likely.

The storm comes to an end on Wednesday, but it’ll still be very wind, especially through the morning hours.
Temperatures will struggle on Wednesday with highs in the 30s and 40s.
