Storms overnight, not as hot

Storms are going to be possible on and off through out the next several days. Temperatures are taking a break, too!

The above video shows what may happen overnight into early Saturday. Storms are expected to roll across the state and move into SE Nebraska by early Saturday morning.

We’ll start off the day in the lower 70s and top out in the upper 80s by the afternoon.

The heat index will warm up, but it won’t be excessive like it has been!

Highs across the area will be in the middle and upper 80s to around 90 degrees.
