Storms possible on and off through Thursday
Storms may make it as far north as I80, but the better chance is south. (see below)
2nd wave: Storms start up in central Nebraska Thursday afternoon and move east through the evening hours. Because of this, we have a level 1 and 2 “Marginal” to “Slight Risk” for severe storms during this time frame.
Our StormCast weather model below is showing the location, timing, and duration for the storm potential Thursday afternoon and evening.
The main threat from storms Thursday afternoon and evening will be large hail. Those near the black hash marks may see 2″+ hail.
Damaging wind is also a possibility.
The threat for a tornado is small, but not zero.
Precipitation potential is out there, but we do need more.
Speaking of precipitation, I’ll just let the one below speak for itself.
The good news for those hoping for more rain, the 10day has many, many chances!
