Storms possible tonight and Friday
The best chance for more rain across Nebraska will be tonight and Friday. There are small chances Sunday and into early next week, but most of us will remain dry.
The Drought Monitor has shown some improvement for eastern Nebraska, but we still need more rain.
Our next best chance comes during the second half of the day on Friday. Severe weather is not anticipated, but a few storms may get on the strong side.
Temperatures will actually be a little below average on Friday. With the added cloud cover, we’ll see high temperatures a few degrees below normal.
The dewpoint will be a little high, though. Middle and upper 60s to around 70 degrees, so it’ll feel a little muggy.
After Friday, that’ll be about it for rain chances. There’s a small chance on Sunday, but most of us will remain dry through the weekend.
