Sunny Thursday forecast 2/18/2021

Temperatures are above zero again this morning, thanks to the overnight overcast skies not breaking apart. Most of southeast Nebraska is sitting in the single digits and teens, with a few wind chill values near 0 degrees. As we progress into the afternoon, clouds will pull apart and lead way to mostly sunny skies by the evening. This sunshine will help warm our highs to the upper teens and low 20s. Temperatures drop down to 0 degrees overnight tonight, but we quickly rebound tomorrow afternoon with highs in the mid-20s across the area. This warming trend continues into early next week and will bring us back to near average highs in the 40s. A chance for snow still looks likely for this Sunday.

  • TODAY: Clearing skies with highs in the upper teens and low 20s. HIGH: 19
  • FRIDAY: Highs are back in the mid-20s for the entire area with partly cloudy skies. HIGH: 25
  • SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy skies with another chilly day in the 20s. HIGH: 25SUNDAY: Scattered snow showers with highs near the low 30s. HIGH: 29
  • MONDAY: We finally warm above freezing with highs in the low 30s. HIGH: 34
