Sunshine and warmer temperatures return today 3/31/2022

SLOW DOWN! Snow showers and mist that fell overnight have resulted in shiny roads, which means there are slick spots this morning. Overpasses are my biggest concern as well as elevated surfaces, so slow down and maybe leave a bit earlier. We will continue to dry out and clear out the next several hours and this eventually will lead to some afternoon sunshine. This sunshine will return highs back into the low 50s today, but for now we are stuck with wind chill values in the teens this morning. Gusty wind speeds stick around today with gusts hovering around 20-25 mph all day. Wind speeds finally relax overnight and with clear skies, this could lead to some patchy fog tomorrow morning during your commute. The 60s return tomorrow and stick around for the first weekend of April. This is seasonal for this time of the year, but cooler temperatures could return next week as well as wind and rain.
