Suspect Arrested In Amber Harris Case
Omaha police say they have sufficient evidence and have charged a man with the murder of a young Omaha girl.
Police have charged 53-year-old Roy Ellis Junior with first degree murder of 12-year-old Amber Harris.
Harris disappeared after getting off a school bus nearly fourteen months ago.
Her remains were found near Hummel Park in Northeast Omaha, in May of 2006.
Police say they've conducted more than a hundred interviews.
They also say DNA evidence and Amber's book bag were key in the arrest of Ellis.
Police say Ellis is a convicted sex offender.
He will appear in court Tuesday.
Investigators say there are no other suspects in this case.
