Teen arrested on suspicion of DUI after six-vehicle crash, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teen was arrested Friday afternoon after a six-vehicle crash in downtown Lincoln, police say.

Around 3:45 p.m., a car struck a stopped vehicle near 11th and O Streets, which caused a chain reaction crash involving three other cars.

Officers tried to approach the driver of the first car, but he sped off over a median and hit another vehicle.

The vehicle then came to a stop due to damage, and officers arrested 19-year-old Edgar Aguilar-Ramos.

He was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident, being a minor in possession, driving under the influence, reckless driving and having no operators license.

At the time of the arrest, police say Aguilar had a blood alcohol content of 0.186, which is more than double the legal limit.
