Temporary intersection starts tomorrow, US-77 and Saltillo Rd

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Beginning Saturday, Sept. 5th, the intersection of US-77 and Saltillo Road will be redirected onto a new temporary intersection due to the South Beltway construction.

The temporary intersection will redirect traffic in a “U” shape to the south of the current intersection. It will extend a few hundred feet west of the existing intersection and extent east until the intersection of S. 14th Street and Saltillo Road.

The temporary intersection is expected to be in service for two to three years to facilitate the construction of the South Beltway. Access to businesses and property will be maintained.
