The Heat Continues
The heat and humidity is going to continue for a while. It won’t be quite as hot as it was on Tuesday, but it’s still going to be above average. Highs on Wednesday will be in the lower 90s, which is a few degrees above the normal high of 89.
The dew point will continue to be rather high, too. When you get into the upper 60s, it starts to get uncomfortable, and that’s what we’re expecting to see for a good portion of Wednesday.
With the temperatures in the lower and middle 90s and a dew point in the middle and upper 60s, the heat index will be pushing into the upper 90s. It wouldn’t surprise me to see a few 100s, too.
Precipitation chances are small, but not zero. A few storms will be possible late Tuesday into early Wednesday. After that chance, we’ll see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies through the rest of the week. The next chance for storms will be over the weekend.
