The warmup has begun

After a couple of chilly days and record cold nights, we’re bouncing back the other way and will have a chance at seeing some record high heat! Over the weekend, the highs will be very close to the record highs. We have the best chance at at least tying the record high on Sunday.

Precipitation chances will hold off until late Sunday into Monday and Tuesday. Much cooler air will then move in again next week.

Lows

Early Wednesday morning temperatures (above) were once again quite chilly. Especially in eastern Nebraska where it fell to 19 in Hebron, 16 in Lincoln, and 15 in Norfolk!

Day Planner Vertical

For Thursday (above), it’s going to be a fantastic fall day. Temperatures will be just a little below average to start the day, but we warm up nicely and will see highs a few degrees above average by the afternoon. The wind will be light and the sun will be plentiful.
