Out of the eight, one item is from Lincoln.

The top eight were voted on in the first round of the Coolest Thing Made in Nebraska competition, presented by Pinnacle Bank.

The top eight coolest things are as follows in no particular order:

  • Hi Rail Excavator and Snowblower by Ceres Group in Omaha.
  • Modular Housing by Family Built Homes in Gering.
  • Fresh, Stoned Milled Flour by Grand Republic Milling Company in Gering.
  • TAU-XR by Lindsay Corporation in Lindsay.
  • Animal Health IV Fluids by Nova-Tech, Inc. in Grand Island.
  • Popcorn by Popcorn County, USA in North Loup.
  • PyraMAX Transmission Structures by Valmont Industries in Columbus.
  • MIRE- miniRAS by Virtual Incision in Lincoln.

The voting for the second round is open until 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 11.
