Two arrested and card skimmers seized after western Nebraska traffic stop
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol arrested two people Thursday after finding credit card skimming devices during a traffic stop.
Around 1:30 p.m., a trooper saw a Mercedes with expired license plates driving east on Interstate 80 near Lexington.
The trooper pulled the car over and smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to the state patrol.

A search of the car revealed a small amount of marijuana and multiple skimmers.
The driver, 33-year-old Omar Reyes Galvez of California, and passenger, 34-year-old Gerard Rodriguez-Montes De Oca of Nevada, were both arrested.
They were lodged in the Dawson County Jail on suspicion of possession of an electronic scanning device with intent to obtain encoded payment card information.
Rodriguez-Montes also had an active arrest warrant from Nevada.
