Two Lincoln streets begin construction today, one set to close until winter
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A major road closure begins today as part of the Lincoln on the Move street improvements project.
South 48th Street between Cotner Boulevard and Sumner Street closes today.
The closure is set to run through winter of this year. Lincoln Utilities and Transportation said access to homes and the hospital will be maintained.
Van Dorn Street between Normal Boulevard and 70th Street will also close today for pavement repairs. The work is expected to be completed by next Friday, Sept. 25.
