UNL agriculture branches to host workshops on land management and leasing

Corn Field And Blue Sky Horizontal

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — As farmers navigate a variety of economic hardships, state agencies are offering land management workshops to help.

Nebraska Extension and the Center for Agricultural Profitability will host workshops across the state, which cover the latest cash rental rates and options for leasing.

The workshops will also offer communication tips for tenants and landlords, as well as information on managing and adjusting pasture and crop share leasing.

Extension educator Allan Vyhnalek and extension agricultural economist Jim Jansen will share presentations in the workshops.

Each workshop is free to attend, but attendees will need to register for each event over the phone.
