UNL cancels in-person classes, events due to winter storm

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is the latest school to shut down due to winter weather.

UNL announced on Monday that all in-person classes and academic events are canceled. Offices will also be closed on Monday.

The press release said to have students check email or Canvas for “instructional continuity” plans.

Officials said employees non-essential employee should work remotely or not work, as directed by their supervisor.

Some other student services, sporting events or performances may be impacted by this announcement.

Law students were scheduled to return to classes on Monday following winter break. The full academic schedule returns on Jan. 22.
