UPDATE: One dead, one seriously injured in north Lincoln crash Friday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Around 8:16 p.m. a single-vehicle crash occurred in North Lincoln, according to police.

An SUV rolled into a field next to Hibner Stadium near 14th Street and Cornhusker Highway.

LPD said the driver was a 47-year-old male and the passenger was a 47-year-old female.

Both were transported to an area hospital.

The female passenger died from her injuries, according to police. The male driver is in critical condition.

Their names are not being released at this time.
