Vaccine registration system to be launched in late January
Nebraska will be launching a vaccine registration system soon, what does this mean for you?

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- In the Governor’s press briefing Monday, Angie Ling, a health care official, announced that Nebraska will be launching a vaccine registration system in late January.
This vaccine registration system will allow Nebraskans to register to get the vaccine by entering basic information to determine what phase of distribution they’re in and when that phase is expected to be open. The information you’ll be asked to give is name, date of birth, phone number, email, occupation, and some basic health questions. Ling emphasized that this information would be kept strictly confidential.
After registering, you will get a notification of your vaccine status. Then, you’ll be directed to schedule a vaccination or placed on a waitlist.
If placed on the waitlist, once their phase is open, you will be notified once they can schedule an appointment either through the vaccine system or any local providers giving the vaccine.
The registration system includes a vaccine finder to help identify providers who have the vaccine available. Additional reminders will be sent out for when you are to receive the second dose of the vaccine as well. You will also be able to let them know if you are experiencing any adverse reactions to the vaccine.
There will be a call center set up for those who do not have internet access.
