Very warm Thursday, then storm chances for Friday
Thursday is looking VERY warm. Not a lot of wind, either!
We’re all going to be very warm, too. It won’t surprise me if someone makes it into the lower 80s at some point Thursday.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing and location of the storms on Friday.
Because of this storm potential, eastern Nebraska has a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storm. The main threat will be hail and damaging wind in the late afternoon and early evening.
We are on the very northwestern edge of this severe weather potential. There is a much higher level 3 “Enhanced Risk” well to our southeast.
After the storm chance Friday, we cool off for a couple of days. We warm back up in time for St. Patrick’s Day!
