Warm and windy weekend
If you have plans to celebrate the groundhog this weekend, it’ll be a good weekend for it!
Highs are going to be well above average this weekend. We’ll see the 50s on Saturday for just about everyone. It’ll be a touch cooler east.
It will be windy, however. 30-40 mph wind gusts are possible late morning into the early afternoon. The wind will subside by late afternoon.
After the 50s on Saturday, we climb into the 60s for Sunday. With less wind, too. Then we cool off next week.
Precipitation chances are small this weekend, but some snow in NW Nebraska is possible Sunday.
For Lincoln, it’s looking very dry for the next several days, but closer to normal for temperatures next week.
