Warm January day today with plenty of sunshine 1/11/2022

Temperatures are currently sitting in the 20s and 30s across southeast Nebraska with wind chill values in the teens for some. While we are off to a chilly start, the second half of your Tuesday will be fantastic! Highs will warm well above average into the low to mid-50s with mostly sunny skies. A light breeze will pick up as we head into the afternoon and evening today, but this shouldn’t be an issue if you plan on spending some time outside in the nice weather. Temperatures drop into the mid-20s tonight thanks to clouds that will act as a blanket and prevent us from cooling. But the clouds break apart enough tomorrow to allow us to warm back into the mid-50s again. The 50s continue through Thursday before a shift in the weather pattern arrives on Friday. A cold front will drop temperatures back into the low 40s with the chance for rain and snow throughout the day Friday.
