Warm start to the week

A taste of summer is headed our way. Our highs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be 20 degrees above average. We do cool back down as we head into the weekend, but those temperatures will be pretty close to average. Precipitation chances hold off until Friday and Saturday.

We start Tuesday in the upper 40s, which is over 10 degrees above average. We’ll top out in the middle 80s with a gusty SSW breeze.

There is an Air Quality Alert in place through Wednesday. Due to prescribed burns over the next few days, the air quality index will be moderate to unhealthy for sensitive groups.

We will all see the lower and middle 80s on Tuesday!

Wednesday is pretty much a repeat. Maybe a bit warmer with a little more wind.

Wind Gusts

The wind will be gusting from 30 to 40 mph for much of central and eastern Nebraska Wednesday.

Day 3 High Dma

One more warm day on Thursday with highs in the middle and upper 80s. The record high for Lincoln on Thursday is 89!
