Warm week ahead

It is going to be a very warm Tuesday afternoon. Especially in the western half of the state!

Very warm and windy in western Nebraska Tuesday morning and afternoon.

Because of the warm temperatures, the wind, and the dry conditions, there is a Red Flag Warning in place. This means that any fire that happens to get started could get out of control very quickly.

Any chance for precipitation holds off until the 2nd half of the weekend, but even then, it’s a small chance.

After that small rain chance on Saturday night into Sunday, we cool off quite a bit into early next week. That, however, will be short lived.
