Warming up and getting unsettled
After a chilly start to the work week, things are about to warm up. And since it’s spring, that means thunderstorms are now in the forecast.
It’ll be a little cooler to the northwest with highs in the 50s, 60s for most of central Nebraska, and 70s for the southeast. The average high is in the low 60s!
The cooler air moves over into the northeast and the warmer air pushes back into the southwest for Thursday.
By Thursday night, we get a chance for some strong to severe storms in far SE Nebraska into Kansas, Missouri, and SW Iowa.
If those storms can get going, it wouldn’t be until late Thursday into very early Friday morning. Hail and damaging wind are the main concerns.
