Warming up for the weekend
We are going to warm up for the weekend, but will have to wait until next week for precipitation chances.
Saturday will be warmer, but windy. Then Sunday will be a LOT warmer and not quite as windy.
A Red Flag Warning is in place for all of Nebraska through Saturday. We will continue to see these on warm and windy days until we can get some meaningful precipitation. Until then, any fire that can get started may get out of control very quickly.
60s and 70s will be our afternoon highs on Saturday. Not bad! But the wind…
The wind will pick up as the day progresses on Saturday, gusting over 30 mph for much of the late morning and afternoon.
The next chance for precipitation holds off until next week, but when we do see some, it could be a little bit of everything.
We go from highs in the 80s Sunday and Monday to lows near the freezing mark Tuesday and Wednesday.
