Warming up, storm chance Saturday
A quiet end of the week is headed our way, but storms will be possible Saturday, some of which may be severe. Rain is possible on Sunday, too. Temperatures will be at or above average for a while.
A mild day is on tap for Friday across Nebraska. Not a lot of wind, either!
We start off a little chilly, but warm into the lower 50s by noon. We’ll top out in the middle 60s by the late afternoon.
It’s going to be warm and very windy on Saturday. Storms will also be possible.
Storms will be pushing across the state during the day, making their way into eastern Nebraska by the evening.
There is a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storms across Nebraska Saturday. One or two strong to severe storms will be possible. It will mainly be a wind and hail threat.
