WATCH: SpaceX SN10 Starship prototype landing ends in explosion
The SN10 made a successful landing for the first time before exploding on the pad

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- A SpaceX Mars rocket prototype, SN10, had a short test flight.
The SN10 swooped in for a landing after soaring over parts of Texas. It rose about 6 miles above the coastal landscape before coming back to Earth successfully for the first time.
But 8 minutes after touching down, as you can see in the video, it exploded on the pad.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the explosion. SpaceX halted a test flight of the starship prototype earlier in the day.
