LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – In what turned into an instant classic, a missed last-second field goal attempt allowed Lincoln Southwest to win their first game against rival Lincoln Southeast 26-23 Friday night at Seacrest Field in Channel 8’s Game of the Week.
Leading the way for the Silver Hawks (3-0) was Cam Rakowsky, who scored three touchdowns in the win. Southeast (1-2) gave itself a chance late as Kamari Quarells-Rupert ran in a 90-yard touchdown, but it ultimately was not enough.
