Week 6 high school football roundup: Norris picks up key victory over Seward, and more
SEWARD, Neb. (KLKN) – In a matchup of two teams which were in big need of a win, the Norris Titans delivered, taking down Seward 24-6 Friday night at Bulldog Stadium in Channel 8’s Game of the Week.
Norris’ (3-3) offense was headlined by running back Jacob Kranau, who scored his team leading eighth touchdown of the season, and tight end Connor Terry, who made a leaping grab in the endzone to make it 17-0 before the half. Sophomore quarterback Beckett Hausmann was also efficient, making numerous one-legged throws on the scramble.
The Titans continue district play in Week, hosting Waverly next Friday, Oct. 9. Seward (1-5) will look to get back in the win column that same night, hosting a 1-5 Lincoln Pius X team at Bulldog Stadium.
