Fresh food and coffee are still up for grabs at The Hub Cafe.

The restaurant near 21st and Q street is one of the few that stayed open throughout the coronavirus, closing its dine-in area and only doing curbside.

The cafe does grill out pop ups where customers can pick up orders and enjoy them at the park nearby.

“We’ve been leasing this area next door we’ve been doing some grilling out, kind of the closest thing to an outdoor restaurant that we can bring, just being able to grill stuff up so people can pick it up,” says Eric Thiessen, a manager.

The cafe implements masks to be worn by workers and is looking forward to opening the dining area up soon.
