Windy and Warm
The temperatures have returned to the 90s for highs and that sticks around for one more day. The wind sticks around for another day, too.
Thursday is going to be hot, but not terribly humid. The dewpoint will be in the lower 60s, so the heat index won’t be a huge concern. It’ll still be hot, though!
The wind will continue to be an issue through the overnight into early Thursday morning. It’ll be blowing out of the south at 15 to 25 mph, gusting to around 35 mph at times.
Overall, Thursday is going to be hot and windy, but not as humid as it could be. The humidity will come back as we head into the holiday weekend.
Storms are going to become possible as we head into the evening hours Thursday into Friday morning. Below is what our models are saying radar will look like at 10pm Thursday.
We’ll be tracking the storms as they move in, but there is only a small chance the storms will be severe.
