Windy with increasing clouds today 4/19/2022

Wind chill values from 20-30° are making it feel cold on this clear Tuesday morning! Clear skies won’t stick around forever though! Clouds will push in throughout the morning, and temperatures will warm to the upper 50s and low 60s by the afternoon. Parts of central NE might even warm to the mid to upper 60s today, finally breaking the train of 50s we have been stuck in lately. Strong wind gusts also return today with gusts above 35 mph across the area. These breezy conditions stick around into overnight tonight and clouds hang around as well. This cloud cover will act as a blanket and prevent us from cooling. Temperatures will be much more comfortable with lows in the mid to upper 40s. Scattered showers and maybe even the occasional rumble of thunder will arrive early tomorrow morning during your commute. I expect us to dry out by the early afternoon and temperatures eventually soar to the upper 60s. We continue to warm into the end of the work week with daily rain chances.
