Below is what our StormCast model is saying for freezing drizzle and snowfall potential, timing, and location. Untreated surfaces will become difficult as the weekend wears on.
Snowfall totals will generally end up in the 2-4″ range for much of the state. However, a vigorous low pressure system will pass to our south and push up some additional snow into south central and southeast Nebraska. This will add to the totals in this area.
It’s going to get cold, too. Morning temperatures on Saturday will be in the teens for most.
Highs in the afternoon struggle. We’ll see highs generally in the teens and 20s.
With a brisk north wind, the wind chill will be in the single digits and lower teens.
