Winter Storm Watch: March 3-4, 2025

A WINTER STORM WATCH and a HIGH WIND WATCH is in place for late Monday into late Tuesday, March 3-4, 2025.

Snow moves into the panhandle late Monday into early Tuesday, into central Nebraska by midday Tuesday, then into eastern Nebraska Tuesday evening. It will be warm enough that rain may mix in before the snow. Our StormCast weather model below shows the timing and duration of the storm potential through early next week.

Snow totals will be difficult to nail down with rain mixing in first then wind blowing around what snow does fall.

The wind will pick up as the storm moves across the state creating blizzard or near blizzard conditions.

A High Wind Watch is in place early Tuesday into early Wednesday.
