Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are in place through Thursday morning.
For more details on that forecast, check out the video above!
The Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories expire on Thursday.
They go through early Thursday morning in southwest Nebraska, through midday in south-central Nebraska and through 6 p.m. Thursday in southeast Nebraska.
Most of this snow will fall south of Interstate 80, with the most near the Kansas-Nebraska border.
Two to 4 inches is expected in and around Lincoln, and then quickly tapering off the farther north you go.
The best chance for snow in the Lincoln area will be overnight, from midnight through 6 a.m. It then comes to an end in the morning.
The wind will be a problem, especially for those who see snow.
Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph will be possible, blowing around the snow that does fall.
Travel will become difficult in these areas.
Those highlighted above in orange and yellow will see the most impact from this winter storm. This is generally south of the interstate.
